Rainy Biography

Rainy is a producer, singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist based in Wiltshire UK. His songwriting draws from a deep well of musical influences. African, Cuban and Latin grooves meet Folk, Blues and Reggae with the warm hearted positivity of his lyrics. This laid back musical infusion makes Rainy one of the most watchable, listenable and dynamic songwriters you could hope to come across.

He has performed as a solo artist and with his band Rainy and The Dust in many venues across the UK with appearances at numerous folk, Jazz and world music festivals including Glastonbury.

All three of his solo album releases to date, including his latest 'Fell For The World', were recorded from a small home studio. With a new album on the horizon in 2026 his music was once described by former Robert Plant guitarist and producer Justin Adams as '“Like Bill Withers on a surfboard or a slacker
